A TRADITIONAL Lakeland family firm that marks its 60th anniversary in business next year is going from strength to strength.
Kirkstone Quarries Ltd supplies natural stone products for a wide range of prestigious building projects and is equally at home producing bespoke items for private domestic clients.
Products range from tiles, cladding and paving to kitchen work surfaces, vanity units, basins and trays, made from either Lake District slates or imported stone, such as limestone, marble and mosaic.
With an annual turnover of £3 million and a 40-strong workforce, Kirkstone sells around 40,000 square metres of natural stone products annually and spends around £1.75m a year in the local economy,
