A FORMER publican remains in hospital following a collision in Kendal on Monday.
Cameron Bolton, who had been at the Kent Tavern and now works as a builder, suffered head injuries when his bike was involved in a collision with a 4x4 on the Longpool Road near Kendal Cricket Club.
He was flown by air ambulance to the Royal Preston Infirmary where, although he is in a coma, his condition was described by doctors yesterday as ‘critical but stable’.
The driver of the 4x4 was a 65-year-old man, also from Kendal.
Police closed part of the road for four hours following the incident, which happened shortly after 1pm.
Witnesses are being urged to call 0845-3300247.
