THE RSPB is making a final plea for people to sign its Bird Of Prey Campaign pledge, which calls for an end to the illegal killing of the likes of red kites and peregrines.
The campaign closes on January 22 ahead of a hand-in at Westminster to key environmental spokesmen in early February.
Birds of prey are amongst the most spectacular, graceful and inspiring of our wild inhabitants, yet every year many are deliberately shot, poisoned or trapped.
