BUSINESSES risk hefty fines if they fail to comply with environmental legislation, the Environment Agency has warned.
It has launched a website (www.netregs.gov.uk) to help small businesses to understand their green obligations.
The move has been welcomed by the Federation of Small Businesses, which described the website as a "crucial resource" for smaller businesses affected by increasing amounts of legislation.
