I WOULD like to reply to the letter from Judy Gilbert of POWA headed Hunting is far from accountable' published in the Citizen) last week.
I am not surprised she says that hunts make it difficult for POWA.
Hunt monitors are unlikely to be welcomed by farmers on to their land because one of her so-called monitors was fined £650 and had his driving licence endorsed for harassing members of a hunt in the Midlands.
It is disgraceful that people like this say that they are interested in animal welfare when they clearly are not - they have shown that they are prepared to endanger both animals and people by their actions.
If anyone wants to see what happens on a day's hunting my invitation to see for themselves still stands. Join us during National Newcomers Week between Octo-ber 9 and 16.
