The Carnforth and District Art Society are holding an exhibition at RSPB Leighton Moss nature reserve from Saturday 3 to Tuesday 6 December from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm.
The work has been inspired by visits to the nature reserve in the summer.
Local artist Kate Horner said: "The nature reserve is a wonderful place to visit and to draw. The group has produced a wide and varied range of pieces."
Jen Walker, reserve visitor officer, said: "We're really thrilled to host the art exhibition about the reserve and its wildlife. I'm sure it will be really popular!"
There are also a couple of art events being held at the reserve in December. On Friday 9 (11 am- 4 pm) try your hand at painting a Christmas scene of the wildlife of Leighton Moss using acrylics with Marianne Birkby. Cost is £19 (£17 RSPB members). On Saturday 10 December (11 am 4 pm) Jacqui Fereday is holding a silk painting workshop to create something a bit different to give as a Christmas gift. Cost £18 (£16 RSPB members).
Booking is essential (tel: 01524 701601) and all materials and lunch will be provided for both events.
It is easy to visit the reserve by public transport; Silverdale station is just 150 metres from the visitor centre, on the Manchester Airport/Preston to Barrow line. For train information tel: 08457 484950, for bus information tel: 0870 608 2608. The reserve is 2 miles/3km north of Carnforth and is signposted A6 north from J35 of the M6.
