LICENSEES have been warned of their increased social responsibilities with the Licensing Act 2003 which comes into force today (Thursday).
The Licensing Act which has courted widespread controversy for paving the way for longer opening times makes licensees more accountable for the behaviour of customers inside their pub or club, and also for their actions outside.
