PETER Ward is licking his lips in anticipation after the draw for the second round of the United Co-Operatives Lancashire FA Shield handed Lancaster City a possible dream tie with Morecambe.
The Shrimps must beat Daisy Hill in their delayed first round tie in order to book a trip to Giant Axe in the week commencing December 5.
That would mean another major Lune derby - and cash-strapped City are delighted.
"If Morecambe get past Daisy Hill it's a great tie," says Ward. "And if they don't then we are still at home.
"If it is Morecambe there will be a big crowd and a great atmosphere and that is what football is all about."
