BATTLING Kendal came back from giving away a sixth minute penalty, converted by Stuart, to take the points and retain their ninth place in the UniBond League First Division table.
Ian Simpson put Town on terms a minute before half-time and Gareth Jones completed the recovery with a goal in the 75th minute.
Town's next league action is at home on Saturday to Bamber Bridge. Kick-off at Parkside is at 3pm.
The club has been awarded the UniBond Fair play award for March, having had just two yellow cards from their six matches in the month.
