SAILORS turned out in force and fancy dress for the Windermere Boat Parade, held on the lake last weekend.
Sixteen entries were all well-received by the crowds on the Bowness waterfront and overall winner was the Pirates of the Caribbean entry owned by Jenny Fearnley, of the Windermere Crusing Association.
The parade also featured Albatross, a tender once owned by Donald Campbell and restored for the event.
