The Falmouth Week team has unveiled a new website ready for the 2019 event.

The event welcomes thousands of people each year to enjoy the array of entertainment on offer throughout Falmouth, participate in the sailing competitions and soak up the atmosphere.

A highlight in Cornwall’s calendar, many people return year after year to join the celebrations.

Updating the Falmouth Week website was key in developing the event’s digital presence for 2019, the team behind the week said.

The Falmouth Week team has worked closely with award-winning marketing agency, Eight Wire, based in the town, to create a refreshed look for the website, with clearer communication of information to help visitors find what they’re looking for quickly and easily.

The fully responsive site means that Falmouth Week lovers can search for details effortlessly on their mobile devices while out and about.

Richard Gates, Falmouth town manager and chairman of the Shoreside Committee, said: "We're really pleased with the new Falmouth Week website created by Eight Wire. The refreshed site and improved usability are going to support even more people attending the week, discovering the many events both on and off the water."

Zoe Prosser, studio manager at Eight Wire, said: "It has been an honour to support a key event in the town.

“We all like to enjoy the event personally, so it’s been a fun project to work on from start to finish.”
