A TEAM of willing fundraisers put their shoulders to the wheel to provide a hospital ward with vitally needed funds.
The annual car pull up the infamous Struggle incline from Ambleside up to the Kirkstone Pass raised a bumper figure in sponsorship and an amazing £971 was raised by a raffle on the day.
The money will go to the chemotherapy service in the Grizedale unit at Westmorland General Hospital.
The event is staged in memory of Seray Reynolds and organisers offered their grateful thanks to HN Nuttall Ltd who provided t-shirts, transport and water supplies.
