DELIGHTED officials of South Lakeland Hydrotherapy Trust received the magnificent sum of £4178.48 from the Co-op Community Fund which has funded the construction of a new roof and the installation of solar and PV panels at the Sandgate Pool.
This will make this valuable community facility more energy efficient and sustainable and reduce energy consumption and heat loss.
The work was due to be completed this week but the transfer of equipment and water treatment process means the pool reopening will take place in early January.
