A 51-YEAR-OLD woman was attended to by the Cave Rescue Organisation after falling near Clapham.
The walker was walking on a wet cobbly track at Trow Gill yesterday (October 21) when she slipped and sustained a fracture to her lower right leg.
The team were called at 2.15pm to assist but as the weather conditions were poor and the casualty's party had little to shelter her with, they moved her down to the office of the Ingleborough Show Cave.
Team members provided casualty care and conveyed the casualty down to the depot in Clapham, to meet with a road ambulance.
The casualty was transferred to the ambulance and conveyed to hospital for treatment.
