The England Under 19s finished off the group stage of U19 World Cup in fine style against United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Winning the toss and electing to bat they posted an impressive 362-6, captain Tom Prest of Hampshire weighed in with a masterful innings of 154.

The England bowlers then set to work dismantling the UAE batting, with Leicestershire leg spinner Rehan Ahmed causing the most damage claiming 4-30 off his allotted 10 overs.

Kendal’s Tom Aspinwall finished things off by taking the 10th wicket and ending the match with an analysis that read 6.2-0-31-1.

Their next match will be the quarter final against the runners-up of Group B on Wednesday 26th in Antigua.
