TRIBUTES have been paid to a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt from Blackburn who died peacefully in hospital on November 9.

Jackie Cosgrove, 53, daughter of Sheila and the late Dennis, worked as a dental nurse at Southport Road Dental Surgery in Chorley where she was respected by colleagues and patients alike for her caring nature.

This was an attitude that she displayed just as warmly at home where daughters Kelly and Amy will remember her best for the devotion she showed them and the rest of her family.

A tribute left from family friends Lorraine and David Price said: “Jackie lit up the room when she entered, her energy was contagious as was her beautiful smile.

“Her warmth and kindness made her a wonderful person to be around.

“She will be forever beautiful and unchanging, frozen in time in the memories of all who were privilege to be part of her life.

“May she rest in peace with the angels.”

Meanwhile Trish Bentley also paid tribute to her late friend.

She said: “There are not enough words to describe what an absolutely special person and special friend Jackie was.

“She was beautiful inside and out.”

Outside of work and caring for her family, Jackie was known as an avid runner who was always aiming towards her next fitness goal. She also loved her home and ensured her immaculately kept garden would always bloom in full colour during the summer.

She was also known as a brilliant cook and her cherished grandsons Max and Louis always looked forward to visiting her and going on adventures together at her caravan at Flookburgh.

Jackie leaves daughters Kelly and Amy, sons in law Simon and Anthony, her mother Sheila, grandsons Max and Louis, sister Carole, niece Sarah and nephew Mark.
