A FLOWER shop is sending out wreath making kits to let people make their own wreaths with friends on zoom.

The Flower Girls, based at Hole House Farm in Whalley, are sending out bags with a full kit to make a wreath, along with a video step-by-step guide.

Owner Laura Vickery said: "It was always a plan b because the wreath classes were planned for the end of November and beginning of December.

"We just decided to do online instead and everyone who does one will get a bag and its got the wires and greenery, decorations and ribbon as well as a treat bag with mulled wine in to have.

"A lot of them are going to have zoom classes in the groups they were going to come in and some people are just doing it at home."

Laura decided to do a pre-recorded video so that people could watch it whenever they want instead of having to attend a live streamed class at a set time.

Laura have people who had booked the class the option to have the home kit, which has been the most popular choice, have a wreath made by herself or cancel the booking, which very few people have done.

They have sent out over 100 wreath making kits this year and Laura is glad that she has managed to keep the festive spirit high, despite lockdown.
