LANCASHIRE Police have unveiled the newest member of their team, Police Dog Ebony.
PD Ebony will be be replacing the long serving PD Zeus, who was retired by the force last week.
Living up to her predecessor's reputation will be a tough task for PD Ebony, with PD Zeus having served with Lancashire Police Dog Unit for ten years.

During that time, he was integral part of the Lancashire Police team and among other duties was been instrumental in ensuring the safety of celebrities and dignitaries visiting the county.
However, PD Ebony is in good hands, having been passed on to her new handler after two weeks of training.
A police spokesperson said: "Well done Team Ebony and good luck on the streets of Lancashire."
