Lakes hotel features in a new TV series
THE hunt for a new chef for Gilpin Hotel and Lake House is charted in a new TV series presented by Alex Polizzi.
Chefs on Trial sees the hotel expert take on the difficult challenge of finding head chefs for restaurants that have a desperate need to fill a vacancy.
Over a week the show follows candidates as they go through a rigorous interview process. As well as testing their technical cooking skills, all candidates will have a face to face interview and a chance to cook a signature dish that shows off their culinary abilities. But at the end of the week only one can get the job.
Alex Polizzi: Chefs on Trial starts on Monday on BBC Two.The Gilpin Hotel and Lake House features in the first four episodes of the series.
