Reader's letter.
MY brother lives in the South of France where they are advising residents to thoroughly clean the handles of their wheelie bins before bringing them back into their properties.
The reason for this is that the binmen, who always wear gloves, handle thousands of bins a day and thus any viruses picked up during their round get passed from one bin to another.
