OUR view for the past 43 years has been the BT/Outreach site off Sandylands Road.
The land and buildings have become extremely run down and dilapidated.
The winds during the winter caused more havoc with broken glass from the building littering the popular footpath from Sandylands Road through to Longpool.
The BT fence at the side of that footpath also has gaps in it and children and young people can easily get through and meet in there. It’s not a safe place for them to do this.
What an opportunity for low cost eco housing in an area which has already been improved.
It has a good bus service (the bus stop just needs a shelter).
There is a post office and shop.
We have had a lot of rain but no flooding this year.
