MILNTHORPE Corinthians' unbeaten start in Division Two of the West Lancashire Football League came to an end in an eight-goal thriller at new league leaders CMB.

Strikes from Elliot Bousfield and Richard Sandham saw Milnthorpe restore parity after going down to two first-half goals from Andy Warburton and Matthew Carr.

Paul Hallows then put CMB back in front on 65 minutes before Rick Case added another with thirteen left to play.

Two minutes later Scott Singleton closed the gap but Matthew Carr sealed the win with an 81st minute goal.

Elsewhere, Kendal County picked up their third win of the season away at Swarthmoor Social.

Jason Tucker opened the scoring for Kendal before Sean Nicholson levelled. But a Brody Wallace-Moffatt goal in the 55th minute handed Kendal the win.

Meanwhile, in the Premier Division, Crooklands Casuals suffered their fifth home loss of the season as Fulwood Amateurs put five past the Cassies.

In a well contested and open first half Mitch Newsham put the visitors ahead after 24 minutes from close range.

Crooklands were level on 31 minutes when Dave Mansergh latched onto a defensive mix up and slotted in past the keeper.

The second half was a different story as Fulwood upped their game. Newsham increased the lead after 62 minutes with a smart individual finish before Ged Smith scored a glorious 30 yard free kick that curled into the roof of the net.

Later Newsham completed his hat trick and Charles Orsi put the final nail in the coffin.

In Division One Dalton United remain rooted to the foot of the table after a 3-1 defeat at Wyre Villa, Askam United drew 2-2 at Burscough Richmond and Tempest United put four with no reply past GSK Ulverston Rangers.
