The Westmorland Football League returned after the enforced break which saw the league without a game for a fortnight.
It proved to be another entertaining afternoon of high drama.
In The Senior Challenge Cup, Appleby progressed following a 2-0 win at Kendal Utd. In what was a hard-fought contest, Appleby eased through thanks to a brace by Jordan Crawford.
Wetheriggs Utd are also through following a 2-1 win at Arnside. Niall Renwick and John Bentley scored the goals.
Greystoke booked their place in the quarter finals of The Benevolent Trophy thanks to a 4-3 win over Dent.
In The Junior Cup, Kendal Utd's Reserves won 4-2 at Windermere Reserves. Matt Kennedy scored twice, with Dan Bescoby also on target.
In Westmorland League Division One, Kirkoswald moved up to second in the league after drawing 2-2 with Windermere.
Ambleside Utd edged out Kendal County Reserves 3-2 at Hilliard Park while Lunesdale Utd won 5-1 at Carvetti Utd.
Ibis picked up a much-needed win after a battling 2-1 victory over Unisun Athletic. Luke Deveney and Darren Nightingale were on target.
A Ben Weatherstone hat-trick helped Penrith Reserves to a 6-3 win at Sedbergh Wanderers.
Coniston closed in at the top of Westmorland League Division Two, after a 6-1 win over second-placed Wetheriggs Utd Reserves. Phil Edmondson hit a hat-trick. The result leaves Coniston two points behind Wetheriggs and Kendal Utd Reserves.
Burneside climbed up to fourth in the table, after a 2-0 win at Carleton Banks. Karl Satterthwaite and Scott O'Callaghan were on target.
Keswick Reserves won 3-2 at Langwathby Utd, while Braithwaite edged out Shap in a 1-0 win.
In Westmorland League Division Three, Eden Thistle went four points clear at the top following a narrow 2-1 win at Lunesdale Utd Reserves. Ibis Reserves won 3-1 at Endmoor KGR Reserves, Jay Hayton scoring twice and Dean Stephenson also on target.
Penrith Academy stuck five past Penrith Saints, while Macauley Forysth's hat trick eased Kirkoswald Reserves to a 5-1 win at Penrith Royal.
