Keswick won the Westmorland Football League Division One Title after beating Sedbergh Wanderers 3-2 in an edgy encounter at the Havera Playing Fields.

The Team that are still undefeated in the League, had to battle against a very resilient Sedbergh side. However Richard Bannister's brace and a Tom Atkinson strike confirmed Keswick as Champions.

Keswick followed up Saturday's triumph with a comfortable 5-0 win over Lunesdale United on Tuesday Night.

Kendal United who are still second in the League got back to winning ways after they collected six points from the last two games.

On Saturday they eased past Kendal County Reserves with a 4-1 win, Andy Lockhart scored twice with Aiden Dent and Greg Pearce also on the score Sheet. However on Tuesday Night Danny Craig's goal late into the first half helped Kendal United to a hard fought 1-0 win over Sedbergh Wanderers at Castle Drive.

In the other games Bobby Atkinson's hattrick helped Appleby to a 4-2 win over Kirkoswald, while Ambleside United won 3-0 at Wetheriggs United.

In the midweek games Windermere and Kendal County Reserves battled out a 2-2 draw, while Ibis and Wetheriggs United drew 3-3 in a classic encounter at The Jubilee Playing Fields. Luke Deveney, Joe Carradus and Tim Blamire on target for Ibis.

Westmorland League Division Two is still up for grabs as Wetheriggs United Reserves, Kendal United Reserves and Coniston remained in contention.

Wetheriggs who sit at the top sauntered past Braithwaite with a 6-0 win however Coniston had a mixed weekend as they lost 5-3 to Langwathby united before they defeated Staveley United 7-0 on Tuesday Night.

In the other games Pirelli drew 2-2 at Staveley United while Dent defeated Shap 4-2. Endmoor KGR made it eight wins from nine after they routed Greystoke 4-0. Matthew Wilson bagged a brace, while Sam Wilson and Dean Sill also scored.

Greystoke followed up their 4-0 setback as the lost by the same score to Burneside on Tuesday Night. Scott O'Callaghan with a brace while Ambleside United Reserves drew 2-2 with Pirelli.

Eden Thistle moved seven points clear at the top of Westmorland League Division Three after a hard fought 2-1 win at Windermere Reserves.

Ibis Reserves put six past rock bottom Penrith Saints,Ullswater United defeated Lunesdale United Reserves 4-2,Penrith Academy defeated Penrith Royal 2-1 while second-placed Kirkoswald Reserves defeated Burneside Reserves 3-0.
