With two weeks left to go in the Westmorland Football League, there is still plenty to play for throughout all three divisions.

In Division One, it’s all about league placings, as newly crowned champions Keswick battled out a 2-2 draw with Appleby, who came into this season as defending champions.

Sam Reilly and Declan Robinson scored for a below par Keswick, while Appleby responded through Bobby Atkinson and Josh Richardson.

Ibis closed their season with a comprehensive 3-0 home win over Kendal County Reserves. Josh Ford got a brace and Dan Jones was also on target.

Lunesdale United played two games in quick succession as they defeated Wetheriggs United 1-0 at the weekend, only to lose 4-1 at Kendal County Reserves on Tuesday night

Windermere also played two games in a few days as they battled to a 2-0 win at Ambleside United before they defeated Appleby 2-1.

Sedbergh Wanderers put eight past Ambleside United on Tuesday night. Robert Moffatt and Oli Wales each scored a hat-trick.

The battle at the top of Division Two will go down to the wire as Wetheriggs United Reserves, Kendal United Reserves, Pirelli and Coniston continued to battle it out.

Kendal United Reserves capitalised on a free weekend for Wetheriggs as they defeated Greystoke 3-0 at Bulmire Stripes. Cameron Tew, Joel Scales and Joel Nicholson scored the goals.

Coniston, though, slipped up as they lost 3-1 at Pirelli in the game of the day. Pirelli are now back in the title race after this result.

In the other games Carleton Banks and Staveley United battled out a 2-2 draw, while Staveley also drew 2-2 at Endmoor KGR on Monday night. Endmoor kept their unbeaten run of form intact thanks to a first half brace from Connor Crashaw Collins.

Carleton Banks were also 2-0 winners on Tuesday night as they defeated Dent, while Shap defeated Burneside 3-2.

Bottom of the table Ambleside United Reserves defeated tenth-placed Braithwaite 3-0, while Dent battle to a 2-0 home win over Langwathby United.

In Westmorland League Division Three, Eden Thistle were crowned champions after a 4-2 win at Ibis Reserves.

Kirkoswald Reserves were also promoted, defteaing defeated Lunesdale United Reserves 3-1, before a 3-0 mid-week win over Dent Reserves sealed their place in Division Two.

Endmoor KGR Reserves defeated Penrith Academy 2-1, while Ullswater United won 2-1 at Dent Reserves .

Ibis Reserves defeated Burneside Reserves 5-1, while Bobby Atkinson and Josh Addison Adams guided Appleby Reserves to a 2-0 win over Lunesdale United Reserves.
