ENDMOOR picked up their first points of the Westmorland FA Under 25 Summer League after a comfortable 3-0 victory over Lunesdale.

The Westmorland League Division One team started the game well and opened the scoring when Jake Park turned the ball into the net after sliding in at the back post.

Endmoor went 2-0 up when Bailey Kenny slotted the ball home from the edge of the penalty area.

In the second half the game was evenly contested, however Endmoor sealed the win when James Halton headed the ball into the net.

The second game saw two unbeaten teams meet in what became a tightly contested encounter. It was clear that both Ibis and Kendal United were desperate to win and the game started at a high tempo with some strong tackles being made and numerous chances created for both teams.

Ibis had the better of the first half as Josh Ford scored a very well taken overhead kick from the centre of the box.

In the second half, Ibis edged the first ten minutes but Kendal United battled back and equalised after James Bennett curled the ball into an empty net. Bennett followed up the rebound after the Ibis keeper had made a good save.

Kendal United remain three points clear at the top of the summer league while Lunesdale slump to the bottom.
