MILNTHORPE Corinthians, Kendal County and Kendal United start their West Lancashire League campaigns this Saturday.

Corinthians, who finished in the top three of Division One last season, travel to play Lytham Town on Saturday before they make the trip to play Wyre Villa on Tuesday night. The Cors face eight away games in August.

Kendal County start at Hawcoat Park on Saturday before a Tuesday night trip to Ulverston Rangers.

Corinthians will be managed by Marcus Richardson after Steve Edmondson resigned, while Daniel Ferguson has stepped up to take on the player/manager role at Kendal County following the departure of Ian Wilson.

Kendal United begin their second season in Division Two on Saturday when they entertain Mill Hill St Peters.

United, who had a mixed 2018-19 campaign, will be eager to climb up the table following a disappointing second half of the season where the team from Castle Drive picked up just four points in 2018.
