KENDAL County moved up to sixth place in West Lancashire League Division One after a hard-fought 4-2 victory against Ulverston Rangers.

Zach Milby edged the visitors in front after six minutes. However, Kendal County battled back and were 2-1 up at half time after goals by George Key and Jack Brench.

County ran away with the game late into the second half when Connor Walmsley and Bailey Carlos scored in quick succession before Milby scored his second in what proved to be a consolation goal as Kendal ran out 4-2 winners.

Milnthorpe Corinthians spurned a 2-0 half time lead before drawing 2-2 at Eagley. The Cors were 2-0 up thanks to goals by Elliot Bousfield and Scott Singleton.

However, former Milnthorpe Corinthians' player Zac Clark came back to haunt the visitors after his quick fire brace in the second half saw Eagley come back for the draw.

Kendal United lost 3-0 at Charnock Richards Reserve in West Lancashire League Division Two. Jonathan Hession edged the hosts in front just before half time before second half goals from Jordan Aird and Bradley Whittle sealed a comfortable win.

In Reserve Division Two Milnthorpe Corinthians Reserves were defeated 3-2 by Lytham Town Reserves. Jamie Parkinson and Tom Jackson scored for Corinthians but Lloyd Patton's brace and Dan Stanners' solitary strike edged Lytham to victory.

Milnthorpe Corinthians travel to play CMB at the weekend while Kendal United are away to Horwich St Mary's Victoria.

Kendal County have a free weekend, while Milnthorpe Corinthians Reserve host Stoneclough Reserve.
