IBIS edged into the next round of the Benevolent Trophy after a dramatic 5-4 penalty shoot out victory against Windermere in a pulsating game at The Jubilee Playing Fields in Kendal.

Both teams battled out a 3-3 draw after 90 minutes with Ibis scoring their goals through Josh Ford, Luke Deveney and Tyler Park.

However, both teams were unable to find the winner in extra time before the game went to penalties. Ibis prevailed in the shoot out with Robbie Tattersall, Josh Hardiker, Joshua Ford, Tim Blamire and Luke Deveney scoring all five of the penalties to progress.

Milnthorpe Corinthians Reserve progressed into the next round of The Junior Cup, following a 4-3 win at AFC Carlisle. Kirkby Stephen edged out Dent 3-2, Appleby Reserves defeated Staveley United Reserves 3-0, Kirkby Lonsdale defeated Ullswater United 4-2, while Burton Thistle beat Wetherigg United Reserves 3-2.

Keswick made it eight wins from eight and moved nine points clear at the top of James Cropper Westmorland League Division One after seeing off Shap 6-1 at Fitz Park. Richard Bannister, Ben Jefferson, Charlie Andrews, Andrew Frampton and Josh Hilton were all on target while an own goal sealing the win.

In the only other Division One game, Aidan Dent's solitary strike edged Endmoor KGR to a hard-fought 1-0 win against Kirkoswald.

Ambleside United defeated Keswick Reserves 3-1 in the only Division Two League game that was played.

In Division Three two goals each by Dean McNeil, Connor Crawshaw Collins, Jordan Matias, Jay Hayton, Kai McMinn and Connor Stephenson saw Burneside rout Penrith Saints 10-1.

Lunesdale United and Sedbergh Wanderers Reserve drew 3-3 while Wetherigg United Reserves defeated Endmoor KGR Reserves 4-0.
