Milnthorpe Corinthians picked up an impressive 3-0 win at Kendal County in the local derby game which was watched by a good crowd on a wet and miserable afternoon at Parkside Road.

Corinthians, who played their second game under the leadership of Jimmy Marshall and Ted Harrison, impressed against an inconsistent County team

Milnthorpe played well before goals by Elliot Bousfield, Darren Nightingale and Matt Kitchen rounded off a good display for Corinthians.

Milnthorpe remain in twelfth place on 17 points.

Kendal United's game at Walney Island and Milnthorpe Corinthians' home game against Wyre Villa were both postponed due to water-logged pitches.

Kendal County are scheduled to be at home to Lostock St Gerards at the weekend, while Milnthorpe Corinthians entertain Stoneclough.
