Only one game survived the weather throughout the whole West Lancashire League.

Lytham Town defeated Wyre Villa 5-1 in Division One.

Danny Scarlett opened the scoring for Lytham after just five minutes and while Wyre Villa equalised after 18 minutes, Danny Thompson’s goal saw the hosts go 2-1 up before half time.

Lytham battled during the second half before Ross Ainsworth's brace and an own goal sealed the points.

Kendal County and Milnthorpe Corinthians are both in county cup action this weekend. Kendal will travel to play defending cup holders Appleby in what will be a repeat of last season’s final.

Milnthorpe are away to Kirkoswald while Kendal United host Windermere.

Milnthorpe Corinthians Reserves will entertain Blackpool Wren Rovers Reserves at The Strands.
