Windermere Ladies travelled to third-placed Fylde for their Lancashire Central Prem Division match and came away with a 0-5 defeat.
'Mere held their opponents for much of the first half before being undone by a clever counter-attack.
Skipper Hannah Swainson had saved on the line and Abbey Carroll had stretched Fylde with some super passes and 'Mere were very much still in the game at half-time.
However, pressing high for an equaliser, 'Mere were caught on the break a second time and once they were two-up Fylde stole the momentum and went on to add three more goals without reply.
Mere’s players’ player was Katie Harrison.
