KESWICK progressed into the final of The Benevolent Trophy after an emphatic 3-0 victory over Kirkoswald at Fitz Park.

In James Cropper Westmorland League Division One, Appleby defeated Endmoor KGR 6-0, while braces by Ryan Taylor, Andy Todd and Liam Mason helped Sedbergh Wanderers to a 7-5 victory against Wetheriggs United.

Dent went one point clear at the top of Division Two following a resounding 4-0 win at Ibis Reserves.

Staveley United edged out Eden Thistle 1-0.

Stephen Sewell scored four goals after Ambleside United defeated Appleby Reserves 6-2.

AFC Carlisle and Kirkby Stephen drew 1-1, while Greystoke drew 0-0 with Kendal County Reserves.

Penrith Royal progressed into the final of the Junior Cup after they won 3-1 at Keswick Reserves.

Craig Willan opened the scoring before second half goals from Joe Brown and Alex Jackson sealed the win.

In Division Three Penrith Academy are now four points clear at the top after winning 4-0 at Burneside. Jack Rossi scored twice, before Nathan Kerr and Luke Hunter rounded off a comfortable performance.

However on Tuesday night Burneside bounced back after defeating Staveley United 5-1. Jay Hayton scored twice with Lee McNeill, Dean McNeill and Brett Croskell on the score sheet.

Ullswater United won 6-2 at Endmoor KGR Reserves, Braithwaite won 2-1 at Kirksowald Reserves, Langwathby United routed Penrith Saints 6-2, while Staveley United Reserves won 4-1 at Lunesdale United.
