PROUD grandparents Jean and Robin Ree were delighted when their grandson came over to see them from New Zealand.
But they were even prouder when Jack Brown was presented with the ‘International Prize’ by Kirkby Lonsdale Golf Club captain Mick Reid after a superb performance at the club’s Captain’s day competition.
The 14-year-old, playing off 12 Handicap, scored a total of 35 point s while playing off the men’s back tees to carry off the prize and complete a memorable family visit.
