Kendal County moved one step closer to winning the Hansen’s Creative Under 25 Summer League after they defeated Kendal United 3-0 on a glorious summer night at Kirkbie Kendal School.
In an evenly balanced first half, County opened the scoring when Connor Walmsley headed the ball into the net.
Bailey Carlos scored Kendal’s second in the second half with a clinical finish past the keeper before Walmsley scored his second and Kendal’s third soon after when he finished from close range.
In the second game of the night, Milnthorpe Corinthians defeated Ibis 5-1, Nathan Hankinson scoring twice before goals by Jamie Woodruff, Tom Jackson and Charlie Morton rounded off an impressive performance.

Ibis’s goal came from Ross Swidenbank on an otherwise bad night for the defending champions.
In the final game Arnside defeated Endmoor 1-0 in a hard fought contest thanks to George Taylor's header.
