Crowds enjoyed the Windermere boat action
A big crowd enjoyed a spectacular show when the Windermere Motor Boat Racing Club held the second of its three afternoon races in fine summer weather last weekend.
A total of 15 boats competed and Matt Wood took home the day prize as well as the beautiful Lady Campbell’s trophy.
The afternoon also saw an inter-club clash between Windermere and Lancashire Powerboat Racing Club in which the home team triumphed.
