THE annual Abbot Hall President's Cup tournament saw an exciting day's bowling at the Kendal green.
The event, action from which is pictured above, took the form of a pairs competition with began with a 'round robin' as each duo played several other pairs, each match consisting of nine ends.
Geoff Robinson and Ron Butler won through to face Bob Parsons and Fred Ingham in the final with Robinson and Butler coming out on top by a 12-4 scoreline.
Abbot Hall also hosted their annual Colin Park Memorial Ladies Cup Competition which was won by Liz Myers who edged out Dianne Ingham 7-6 in a hard fought final.
