Voted one of the top 10km races in the country by Runners World UK, the Kendal Mountain Festival 10k Trail Run is now taking entries.
The event which sees competitors run from Kendal town centre to Scout Scar, takes place at 11am on Saturday, November 16. Entry fee is £15 and you can enter online at https://www.openadventure.com/kmf/.
Lancaster & Morecambe AC is organising its 20th Christmas Festive Fun Run from the clubhouse on the athletics track at Salt Ayre Leisure Centre, near Lancaster, LA1 5JS, again this year.
It will be held at 11am on Friday, December 27, and all runners are very welcome to run in fancy dress.
Entry is just £4 with an extra £3 for registrations on the day. The route is flat and around 4k.
