AN ACTION packed day in the Kent Valley Junior Football League saw 56 goals scored across all three divisions.

Carnforth Rangers climbed to the top of the J Chaplow and Son under 17 League after they defeated Ibis 5-3 at the Jubilee Playing Fields in Kendal.

In the other games, Wattsfield won 4-3 at Ambleside, Lancaster City Youth Under 16s won 3-2 at Ambleside Under 16s while Trimpell and Bare Rangers Under 17s defeated Lancaster City Youth 3-1.

The stand out game in The Under 15 league saw Ambleside Under 15s win 7-1 at Kirkby Lonsdale while in the Under 13 Division Ambleside saw off Milnthorpe and District 3-0 while Wattsfield United won at Grange United.

In the Lancaster and Morecambe Services to Youth League, Wattsfield United Under 15s suffered an agonising 2-1 defeat to Heysham Blue Stars while Kendal United progressed in the Under 14 Cup derby clash after they edged out Wattsfield United 4-2.
