Milnthorpe Corinthians battled back from 1-0 down before defeating Ulverston Rangers 4-1 in West Lancashire League Division One.

Isaac Prosser edged the visitors in front after 14 minutes, however Corinthians equalised 11 minutes later following a good goal by Simon Wearing.

Corinthians were left frustrated until the final nine minutes before they scored three goals in quick succession.

Alex Fearn’s unstoppable header saw Milnthorpe go 2-1 up on 81 minutes, before Steven Yawson and Fearn scored moments later to seal the win as Corinthians move up to 9th in the table.

Kendal County lost 3-1 at Eagley, on a frustrating afternoon where they were 2-0 down in 20 minutes.

Ryan Close edged the visitors back into the game on 30 minutes however Jack Cowens goal with just five minutes left in the game condemned Kendal to defeat.

Milnthorpe Corinthians Reserves lost 2-1 at Fulwood Amateurs A Team. Lucas Weaver edged Fulwood in front on 31 minutes before Jamie Heddle equalised for Corinthians in the second half.

However, Jamie Chatburns goal with 12 minutes left saw Corinthians crash to an agonising defeat.

Milnthorpe Corinthians entertain Millom and Kendal County travel to play Croston Sports in Division One, while Kendal United host Walney Island in the Challenge Cup.

Milnthorpe Corinthians Reserves travel to Horwich St Marys Victoria with all games kicking off at 3pm.
