Carnforth won the Division One Colin Bolton and Jim Dixon play off final following a dramatic two wicket win against Westgate.

The dramatic victory meant the team from Lodge Quarry completed a memorable season where they won the treble and remained undefeated.

Carnforth who batted first posted a competitive score of 170-8 off 40 overs after Ryan Nelson top scored with 68.

The batsman put together an impressed knock to put his side in a good position, before he was caught by Dylan Conroy off the bowling of Zak Buchanan.

Fellow opener Chris Parry made 34, before he was clean bowled by Sam Conroy, with number three Bradley Hoyle also posting a useful 32, before Buchanan also took his wicket.

Westgate in reply were bowled out for 111, with Jack Thompson returning figures of 3-25 and Parkinson and Alex Benson grabbing two wickets each, as Carnforth ran out victorious.

The Division Two play off final saw Shireshead defeat Westgate Seconds by 6 runs, Jake Agar top scored with an undefeated 65 after Shireshead closed on 176-8.

Jacob Vaughan picked up figures of 4-32 for Westgate Seconds.

In reply Agars second innings return of 4-27 saw Westgate Seconds all out for 170 off 39.2 overs.

And in The Tim Reddin Division Three Play off final Ambleside defeated Morecambe Thirds by 7 runs at Netherfield Cricket Club.

Ambleside closed on 124-7, Tudor Griffiths scoring 32 and Adam Wood undefeated with 27, before Barnaby Wilemans second innings return of 4-11 helped Ambleside to the win after they bowled Morecambe Thirds out for 117.
