THE Northern Cricket League have announced the 40 over and twenty-20 cup fixtures for both Netherfield and Kendal.

While the league fixtures are still to be released The Northern Cricket League confirmed that the 2021 season would be able to get underway on Saturday, April 17.

Netherfield, who won The Twenty-20 competition with a dramatic win over Fulwood and Broughton, have been placed into Group 1 where they will play against St Annes, Lancaster, Garstang, Chorley and Leyland.

Kendal are in group 2 as they will have to overcome the challenges, of Morecambe, Blackpool,Longridge, Fleetwood and Fullwood & Broughton.

The twenty-20 games will start on Sunday, June 20 with Netherfield away to Chorley, while Kendal travel to Longridge.

Meanwhile in the 40 over Cup competition, Netherfield have been drawn at home to Fulwood and Broughton while Kendal travel to play Chorley with the first round ties to be played on Sunday, April 25.

If both teams win their respective games the next round will take place on Sunday, May 2 with Netherfield away to Morecambe while Kendal will host Leyland.

Group 1: Netherfield, St Annes, Lancaster,Garstang, Chorley, Leyland.

Group 2: Kendal, Morecambe, Blackpool,Longridge, Fleetwood, Fulwood & Broughton.
