THE Express Plumbing Supplies South Lakes Girls League will be hoping that restrictions are lifted sooner rather than later as the eagerly await future announcements from the government.

The league had already suffered numerous disruptions before the national lockdown were few games were played across all four divisions.

The Under 16 division which features just 4 teams had only played 3 games with Dalton Girls Under 15’s and 16’s joint top of the division while Milnthorpe and Wattsfield were in third and fourth place respectively.

And in-fact the Under 14 league which features 11 teams was proving to be hugely competitive before the national lockdown came into place.

The battle for third place was proving to be interesting with 7 teams in contention which included two sides from Wattsfield and Dalton.
