She opened up by leading the pack and her determination was on show.

She fought her way to fourth place in 13/14yr TS3 category and fourth female overall in a time of 40.00.

Eleanor worked hard in the 11/12yr age group and came up with a highly satisfactory performance showing some of her best form to date.

Opening strongly in the water she went on to complete her event in a time of 30.27 and a 15th place in both TS3 and female overall.

A further series of Level X racing took place in Kendal, opening with a 50 backstroke.

This event saw both Kate Collin and Alex Walton with their great skill and sprinting power on full display to claim first places.

Annie Bottomley and Kayleigh Craggs came in as close second and third for the girls, whilst Benjamin Rowley and Jake Smith took similar places for the boys.

This was followed by the premiere event, the 100m Freestyle races.

The girl’s event proved to be a memorable one as Eve Murray battled it out against Collin and Craggs.

Matching each other stroke for stroke right to the final touch, it was Murray who was able to hold out for the win.

The youngsters then got their turn and put on an outstanding performance alongside from Elliot Dart who completed a brilliant double coupled with a close second place.

During the 25m Breaststroke sprint, he was seen surging through on his way to an impressive win.

This was then repeated with another win in the 50 Freestyle.

This saw him finishing with a well-earned runner up in the 25m Backstroke sprint.

Close rival Adam Wojtacki, also turned up in great form, produced some outstanding performances taking first place at 50 Backstroke.

However, he had to be content with runner up spot at 25m Breaststroke and 50m Freestyle.

Emma Anderson Bickley was another double winner in 25m Backstroke, just beating out Jessica Atkinson and Sasha Whitehead.

She went on to record her second victory with a performance to be proud of, again ahead of Atkinson and Whitehead.

A change to 25m Breaststroke saw Ruby Anderson Bickley triumph over Whitehead and Ava Dixon with a fine piece of sprinting.

Finishing with 400m Individual Medleys Rosemary Swallow and Elliot Woodburn reigned supreme.

Both were very impressive and quickly got into their rhythm, forcing the pace and maintained their positions taking victories over Emma Duxbury, Lucy Klijn, James Escolme and Jacob Klijn.
