Carlisle United will host Northbank in the second round of the Cumberland Cup.

The Blues were handed a home tie against the Carlisle-based Cumbria County League club.

Northbank reached the second stage of the county senior cup with a 1-0 win over Unisun Athletic.

In the first round, meanwhile, a young Blues side - who are the cup holders - overcame Langwathby United 7-0.

United will be expected to field a youthful side again in the second round tie. Their first round home game was played at Penrith's Frenchfield Park.

All the last-16 ties in the historic county competition were drawn by the Cumberland FA this afternoon.

Workington Reds have been handed a trip to Maryport Athletic in an all west Cumbrian clash.

Cleator Moor Celtic's reward for their dramatic 6-5 extra-time win over Penrith is another home tie against Keswick.
