A PROPOSAL has been put forward to build new changing room space at a sports club.
Ibis Sports and Social Club in Mintsfeet, Kendal has submitted plans to South Lakeland District Council for an extension to its changing room areas.
According to the plans, the extension is 'much-needed' and will also provide separate shower and toilet facilities for the visiting club.
The plans state: "The new changing room space will allow the club to continue to provide sporting opportunities for the youth of today and for many future generations to come.
"It is of great importance to the local community that the club remains a focus for sporting activities and the social scene.
"The improved changing facilities will ensure this is the case."
