IN form Windermere Ladies 1s moved up to second in the Lancashire Central Women's Premier League with a 2-1 win against Lancaster Ladies 2s.
Both Mere Goals were scored by Kitty Carr.
The first came from a short corner worked by Raine Wickens and Chloe Balmer and the second arrived at the end of a driving run which she finished by rounding the Lancaster goalkeeper.
Lancaster pulled a goal back in the second half and buoyed by that strike, went on to press for the winner, but a series of fine saves by goalkeeper Maisie Prescott prevented them from getting an equaliser.
