A CURE for travel sickness would be gratefully appreciated when Kirkby Lonsdale RUFC make the long trip up to the North East on Saturday.
Last week's free date gave the squad a chance to recharge their batteries ahead of the North Premier game at Morpeth, who lie just four points and one place behind the Underley Park men.
It's a great opportunity to climb the table, but while Kirkby have had a great run on home turf this season with the likes of Harlan Corrie and Chris Ramwell in fine form, it's been a different story on the road.
They have failed to register an away triumph this term, a run which has seen them marooned in lower mid-table with a squad that has the potential to reach higher.
A first away win would be a great fillip and put Kirkby in great heart for their final pre-Christmas home game a week on Saturday, December 14 when they host basement boys Ilkley.
