UNDERLEY Park hosts its first competitive fixture of 2020 on Saturday and it's a real cracker to get things underway.

High flying Harrogate are the visitors for what promises to be an intriguing North Premier clash.

The Yorkshire side currently lie second, just nine points behind leaders Billingham, and have their sights firmly set on promotion.

But they are sure to be tested to the limit by a Kirkby side who have reeled off three consecutive victories in a dazzling pre-Christmas run which has seen them surge into the top half of the table and put their early season inconsistency behind them. Kendal meanwhile enjoyed rather less impressive form in the latter part of 2019, suffering three defeats in a row.

They hope to get their North One East season back on track on Saturday when they travel to mid-table Scarborough.
