Spurs midfielder Nabil Bentaleb helped Algeria beat South Korea 4-2 in their Group H World Cup clash yesterday.

The 19-year-old played the full 90 minutes as the Desert Foxes secured their first win over the World Cup's group stage at the expense of the Asian nation.

Islam Slimani put Algeria ahead and two minutes later, Rafik Halliche doubled their lead.

Abdelmoumene Djabou added a third before the break to send the north Africans into the half-time break 3-0 up.

Korea responded through Heung-Min Son but Algeria grabbed a fourth soon after through Yacine Brahimi.

The scoring was finally complete when Lee-Cheol Koo struck 18 minutes from time.

Algeria sit second in Group H, heading into their final fixture against Russia on Thursday.
